You've found me out! :-)

I've used that very same "trick" and even wrote about it last year in this post: http://milkayphoto.wordpress.com/2011/06/29/doggone-good/

Okay, so if the walls are full, you have to get creative. I've rested large-framed artwork on top of armoires, hung them on our door panels, on window sills, tucked into glass-front cabinets or on open shelves amongst books... no spot is safe! :-)

Thanks, Tracy, for your kind words. Yeah, I know you like peonies (and that's euphemism, right?) :) I can only agree with you about difficulties of getting a decent photo of a peony but do you know what helped me recently? I went to flickr (or google if you want), typed the name of the flower I wanted to photograh, checked how majority of people photograph them and tried to do it differently. I didn't applied this approach to peonies but clematis but I gues it's generally usable, well, in case that you want to make your photos different.

Re. photos on our walls, there's no more space, I fear *sigh*. It'll have to wait until the currently hanging photos become mundane.

You know I'm a sucker for peonies, right? Make it a PINK peony and well, I'm all yours. ;-)

As much as I do love them, I find I don't photo them as much as I should. It is difficult to get that unique photo since in general, peonies are photographed so very, very often. Our peony season was wraught with rain. I even had a new variety (to my garden) to photo and never quite got that done. Well, there is always next year, right? ;-)

These are all so lovely, Tomas! and they do make a very lovely triptych! I predict another shot to be gracing your walls... :-)
